My name is Ava and I am an art student living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. In 2014, I formed Cerebral Aperture while I was still a professional photographer. At the time, I was just experimenting with alternative materials and still very unsure of where my artistic path was going. In 2016, I began to phase out photography completely to focus directly on what I could create with resin, urethane, and other synthetic materials. Beginning in 2019, that journey and everything that comes with it can be found here.
